Improving enterprise software to get us to Mars
SpaceX is a company with the incredible mission to make humans a multi-planetary species. They design, manufacture, and launch rockets and spacecraft to designated orbits around the Earth including deliveries to the International Space Station for NASA. As a User Experience Designer II in the Enterprise Information Systems department, my goal was to support all of my amazing teammates in making aerospace history by making easy-to-use, functional interfaces that would get the company and its partners closer to Mars.

Working at SpaceX
At SpaceX I collaborated everyday with Product Managers, Software Developers, and Business Stakeholders to create, redesign, and update existing applications with UI designs that were consistent with the enterprise Product Design System and usability best practices. I worked in over 95 different applications within the SpaceX ecosystem with topics including, among many others, finance, inventory, production, training, and mission management.
